Cellular Automaton mk2 (with relief map)

This CA gets ‘height’ data from the red channel in the following image map:

It stores this information in a second 2 dimensional array, and then uses this to modify the random factor in the growth loop. I need to figure out how to clean up my script so it can deal with a bigger playing field with more pixels…
